60 seconds with….. Nikolo Bertok

BFW: Tell us a bit about your collections, your influences, your muses (if you have any), your background?
My collections are designed and based on my deeply felt philosophy, every time I conceive an idea. The human anatomy, life and experiences one has in life, beauty, love, mystery or death.  Their construction and visualisation is extremely important as the design is drawn. Usually each one is unique. One of my biggest muses is Andy Warhol in general, and Gianni Versace from the fashion designers.

BFW: What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Shining sun and the smell of a nice coffee.

BFW: What was the first thing you did when you woke up this morning?
I did think about life as I think about it a lot.

BFW: Sum up your style in three words.
Undiscovered, unlimited and luxurious.

Nikolo Bertok

BFW: If you were a piece of clothing what would you be and why?
I would probably be an accessory. Sunglasses as I wear them all the time.

BFW: If you could have anyone, who would you want to model your collections and why?
Angels. To show some other beauty to the one we understand.

BFW: New York, Paris or London?
London

BFW: You are given the opportunity to redesign the Police uniform, what would you do?
I would change a few shapes and details to create the Police uniforms more effectively.

BFW: Favourite thing about the fashion industry?
Making people happy while wearing their chosen fashion.

BFW: Worst thing?
That I cannot stop time. Time is so precious!

BFW: Best moment in your life so far?
Every second of my life is my best moment.

BFW: Top fashion designer?
Gianni Versace.

BFW: Who’s the best dressed person you’ve ever met?
A person who is happy how he or she is dressed.

BFW: Favourite thing about Brighton?
A feeling based on images I have seen.  It is so beautiful.   I haven't been to Brighton in person as yet and cannot wait to explore it.

BFW: Most prized personal possession?
My life, health, family and friends.

BFW: Where do you see yourself in five years?
On a cover of my published book.
